You could win up to
$1,000 A Day For Life
with Cash For Life
The Cash for Life game ended in February 2026 and has been replaced by Millionaire for Life.

Cash For Life

Cash for Life was the daily U.S. lottery which offered payouts that kept on coming for a lifetime. The jackpot was worth $1,000 a day, and even the second prize was worth $1,000 a week. It was a game where you could carry on dreaming about what you’d do with your winnings, because the prize never stopped giving.

Cash for Life came to an end with its final draw on February 21, 2026. The game was replaced by Millionaire for Life, which has an even larger jackpot of $1 million a year for life.

If you played Cash for Life before it ended, prizes can still be claimed until the deadline in the relevant jurisdiction (usually 180 days or one year). Any lifetime prizes won on Cash for Life are unaffected by the game’s retirement.

About Cash For Life

Cash for Life, styled as Cash4Life, launched in June 2014. Originally, it was only played in New Jersey and New York but it quickly expanded to give more lottery fans the opportunity to take part.

The twist with Cash4Life compared with most games is the prize structure, as you can win annuity payouts in the top two categories. Either of these wins would represent financial freedom for a lifetime.

You can still take a one-off lump sum if you prefer, while there are several other ways to win if you match fewer than five numbers. The odds of winning a prize are 1 in 8, far better than other multi-state lotteries.
